I’m Georgina Mcbride and I am obsessed with solutions and small business. I have endured an apprenticeship, married a tradie, I am a daughter of a tradie and have worked with small business for 15 +years. I have seen small business in its rawest form, felt the success and failures of the ride multiple times.
Over the last 15years, I have also seen the pressure of small business owners to perform beyond their skillset, increase 100 fold. Add that to rising costs, shrinking margins and skill shortages and its recipe for burn out or worse.
Thinking the answer was all in education I completed a Bachelor of Business. Completing my degree while running a business was extremely valuable as I could implement the teachings first hand. But… the struggle was real and not just for me.
Knowing that something had to be done to stop my husband and I completely burning out, I started working with no code software and automation platforms. It allowed me to make a low cost “app” to help us run our business and subcontractors.
Seeing how far the no-code industry has come and the new technologies that are becoming more accessible every day, the vision for Solace is simple… to provide assistance and access to the latest technology systems so small business owners can thrive and not just survive.
